Buffalo River Services, Inc. is an affiliated chapter of the Arc.
The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We encompass all ages and more than 100 different diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, and various other developmental disabilities.

Tennessee Community Organizations (TNCO) is a statewide trade association for service provider organizations that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Tennessee.
TNCO member organizations provide a full array of services such as residential, day and supported employment, to approximately 8,000 Tennesseans with disabilities. There are nearly 13,000 people employed by TNCO members, working from frontline direct support to supervisors, managers and directors as well as a variety of other qualified professionals including nurses.TNCO members provide services to 79% of the people receiving waiver services from the Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
TNCO’s main purpose is to collaborate the efforts of our member agencies to ensure disabled Tennesseans receive quality services. We coordinate public relations activities such as conferences, educational training, networking and political advocacy opportunities.
